Welcome to Helping Women Rise.

As the name suggests, this site focusses on gender stereotyping, social differences among men and women, and general liberation of women from social norms which hold them back.

While gender isnt a social construst, gender roles are. Stereotyping divides the society into two kinds of people, and assigns roles to them based on their biological bodies. While some roles are exclusively applicable only to either men or women due to their biological anatomy, there are some things which are better being a choice than a role imposed because of gender.

We want women to rise as equals of men. Nothing more, nothing less. If there is some way men are being discriminated, we would look into that as well, but our primary aim is to focus on women. This is not because we consider women superior to men or anything, but because women are being treated as inferior to men in some ways even today, women are still abused more often than men, and women are still held back from choosing a lifestyle which differs from their perceived roles.

This site is a genuine effort from us to end gender stereotyping. We will cover as many social issues which point towards it as we can in this site, and if you understand what we are against and why we are here, we ask you to join us and contribute to us.
